Waaaah! This is gorgeous! :D Apart from the beautiful motive.. you're a really good painter. Are you doing this for a living? Because the vast majority of modern portraits look kind of lifeless and while this one is positively Frans Hals-ish. ^_^

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. :-) I don't paint for a living, just for fun. I'm not disciplined enough to be a fine artist--it's a tough way to make a living.
