On such a big day in US news, I was surprised to see a sad headline: author Michael Crichton has died.
Among his many works was, of course, Eaters of the Dead, known onscreen as The 13th Warrior. He also had a hand in directing the film. While it has been over ten years since both the book and film came into existence, I want to recognize Crichton for his contributions. His talent for entertaining audiences worldwide will undoubtedly be missed.
